This is the Overdose Distortion. This pedal is a high gain, JFET based distortion pedal with a very raw and aggressive, yet focused, and smooth distortion. Very dynamic with excellent string definition. It has an extremely wide range on the Tone Control, from very warm and dark, without being muddy, to an extremely bright, treble boosted distortion. Very useful if you have a dark sounding rig that needs some aggressive bite and burn. The Overdose is not only a high gain pedal, turn the Gain Control down for a "bluesy" sound with a nice edge. |
